Is this a job or a contract?
Independent contractor customer-service roles (1099). You choose your client and schedule.


Is training paid?
Yes, All client programs offer paid certification. Availability, rate, and length vary by client and change over time. We’ll show you current options before you enroll so you can choose what’s right for you.


What kinds of clients?
We partner with reputable brands and platform providers across retail, travel, roadside assistance, QSR/food, e-commerce, and more.


How do I get started?
Complete the 2–3 minute application → we’ll schedule a brief intro call and guide you through onboarding and certification.


System requirements (quick)

  • Windows 10/11 PC (fully updated)
     
  • Hard-wired internet (ethernet)
     
  • USB headset compatible with VoIP
     
  • Quiet, closed-door workspace (some clients require it)
     

Time commitment
Most agents commit to 15+ hours/week; schedules are self-selected within client hours.


Fees & transparency
If any background check fees apply, we disclose them in writing before you enroll.

Nature of Opportunities
A Virtual World LLC connects independent contractors with remote customer-service opportunities. These are 1099 engagements; contractors are not employees of A Virtual World LLC.


No Guarantee of Placement
Project availability varies by client demand and applicant qualifications. We do not guarantee placement, specific schedules, or income.


Certification & Fees
Some client programs require third-party fees (e.g., background checks). Any fee details are disclosed before enrollment.


Payments
Payments to contractors, if engaged, follow the terms disclosed during onboarding for the selected client opportunity.


Conduct & Compliance
Contractors must maintain professional conduct, adhere to client security policies, and protect confidential information.


Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, A Virtual World LLC is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of our site or services.


Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of our site or services means you accept the latest version.
